
On 26th April, Mr. Song Haiyang, Dean of New Energy College of Xi'an Shiyou University, and Liu Weihang, Deputy Secretary of New Energy College of Xi'an Shiyou University, led a team of professors majoring in energy storage science and engineering, as well as 46 representatives of teachers and students from the College of New Energy and the College of Electronic Engineering, to go into CFE to carry out in-depth exchanges and visits. This activity is a positive exploration of university-enterprise cooperation, aiming to promote the development of new energy storage technology through the deep integration of industry, academia and research, and cultivate high-quality energy storage technology talents.
During the exchange, the two sides reached a consensus on the direction of cooperation, and planned to carry out specific cooperation in the following six areas: building a joint energy storage technology laboratory, carrying out joint research and development of eleven cutting-edge energy storage technologies, setting up the ‘CFE Cup’ college students' competition on energy storage technology, constructing the ‘undergraduate-master's’ through-training system, building an off-campus training base, and promoting the implementation of relevant cooperation projects. "The company will also establish an undergraduate-master's degree training system, build off-campus training bases, and promote the implementation of relevant co-operation projects. All the cooperation projects are planned to be launched in the first half of 2025.
Mr. Russell Tang, Chairman of CFE, participated in the exchange activities and said that this cooperation is not a simple superposition of resources, but through the construction of the ‘education chain - talent chain - industry chain’ closed-loop ecology, incubation of innovative forces to drive industry change. Song Haiyang, Dean of New Energy College of Xi'an Shiyou University, used three ‘communities’ to look forward to the prospect of co-operation, i.e., to build a scientific research community for technology research, a growth community for talent cultivation, and a development community for industrial upgrading.
