On 12 October 2025, CFE was invited to participate in the series of events marking the 74th anniversary of Xi'an Shiyou University (XSYU). Deepening university-enterprise collaboration and driving innovative development, the company joined the university in charting new avenues for cooperation, advancing the integration of industry, academia and research to greater depth.

That morning, the signing ceremony for the university-enterprise collaboration and the corporate technology requirements briefing were held with great ceremony at XSYU  Huiyi Campus. CFE and XSYU formally signed a university-enterprise cooperation agreement, marking a new phase of systematic collaboration between the two parties in areas such as scientific research cooperation, talent cultivation, and the commercialisation of research outcomes.

During the event, CFE, as a model collaborative enterprise in the ‘Challenge-Based Recruitment’ initiative, shared on-site the achievements attained through its prior cooperation with the research team from Xi'an Petroleum University. This collaboration addresses critical challenges including energy system optimisation and enhancement, intelligent energy storage and secure transportation, and the utilisation of new energy sources in oil, gas, and mineral resource extraction. Through joint research efforts, the university and enterprise partners are advancing breakthroughs in core technologies and facilitating their engineering applications, fully demonstrating the synergistic innovation model where ‘enterprises pose the problems, universities solve them, and they jointly overcome challenges.’
